SMS messaging notice: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
1. Introduction
RingOn Service Corp ("RingOn," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our communications services, including the C-Flex FMS platform, Sentinel Connect, and SMS / messaging products.

3.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc.), messaging aggregators (Twilio, Meta WhatsApp, LINE), and Microsoft (Teams Phone) strictly to deliver and audit your messages.
4. How We Use Information
Deliver SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, LINE, and Teams messages you initiate or authorize
Maintain compliance archives required by Dodd-Frank Act, FTC Safeguards Rule, FINRA, SEC, CFPB, and applicable state laws (including 5-year retention for financial / dealer communications)
Honor opt-out requests and maintain TCPA compliance
Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
Improve service reliability and performance
We do not use your SMS messages, opt-in information, phone numbers, or contact lists for advertising, marketing to third parties, or selling to data brokers under any circumstance.
5. SMS / A2P 10DLC Disclosures
5.1 Consent (Opt-In)
You will only receive SMS messages from RingOn or our dealer customers after you have provided explicit opt-in consent through one of these means:
Texting a keyword (e.g., YES, START) to a published number
Submitting a web form with a clear SMS consent checkbox
Providing written consent on a paper form during in-person service or vehicle purchase
Verbally consenting on a recorded call where applicable
5.2 Message Types and Frequency
Once opted in, you may receive:
Service appointment reminders and confirmations
Vehicle status updates (ready for pickup, recall notices, financing updates)
Account verification codes (one-time passcodes)
Customer support replies
Optional promotional messages (only when separately opted in)
Frequency varies by use case. Typical frequency is 2–10 messages per month.
5.3 Opt-Out (STOP)
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords:
STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE
You will receive one final confirmation message and will not be contacted again unless you opt back in. Opt-out is processed automatically and immediately by our compliance system.
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. RingOn does not charge separately for SMS messages.
5.6 Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed in areas of poor or no signal coverage.
6. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
Service providers: messaging carriers and aggregators (Twilio, Meta, LINE, Microsoft) strictly for delivery
Compliance and legal: when required by subpoena, court order, regulatory authority, or to enforce our terms
Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to affected users
We never sell, rent, or share your mobile information, phone number, opt-in data, or messaging content with third parties for their marketing purposes. This includes advertising networks, data brokers, and affiliate marketers.
7. Data Retention
SMS / messaging archives required for financial dealer compliance: 5 years minimum, stored on Azure Immutable (WORM) Blob Storage
Standard messaging records: 3 years
Account information: until account closure plus 90 days, unless longer retention is required by law
Opt-out records: retained indefinitely to honor your opt-out preference
8. Data Security
RingOn implements technical and organizational safeguards aligned with the FTC Safeguards Rule:
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
Role-based access control (RBAC) with audit logs
Multi-factor authentication for staff accounts
Incident response plan and 30-day breach notification
Annual third-party security review (working toward SOC 2 Type II)
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it (subject to exceptions), and to opt out of "sales" of personal information. RingOn does not sell personal information.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice (email or in-app banner) at least 30 days in advance.
